NEW POST COMING SOON!
I am so sorry I haven't been my usual blogging self lately. Too many other things are going on in my life right now to spend any time updating my blog. I will hopefully catch up soon, I have so much to tell!
Sleep Over
On Saturday we had Janet over from out of town, and skylar from 2 houses down spend the night. It was fun. Watching Tinkerbell the movie, eating ice cream, playing barbies and eating pizza. At about 10:00 we told everyone time for bed and turned out the lights. About 5 minutes later someone was already crying...it was Skylar she was scared and wanted to go home.
Oh, the first sleepover!
Another Day @ The Herrera's
Well, as I have said in my last post I don't think blogging everyday is going to be too hard for me. We ALWAYS have something going on at this house!
Well the most recent incident:
After this crazy weekend of entertaining birthday party guests, and friends from out of town, I was completely wiped out! So Sunday morning I am sure I was sleeping like a rock, well when I finally woke up... about 7:45/8:00ish, (B/C I had to wake up before Ricky so he wouldn't get into trouble) I go up to Ricky's room to wake him up and he isn't in there. So I think to myself... "Hmmm that is odd where could he be?!" I continue looking, I check Eevie's room, Closets, under his covers in his bed, bathrooms, and so on. So I start getting a little worried. I check in both guest bedrooms (With our guests in there) Still NO Ricky.
By this point I am starting to get FRANTIC! I start screaming out his name, still no ricky. PANIC sets in, I look in the backyard, call his name. I look out the front door thinking to myself "He wouldn't go out front by himself?!"
NOW I AM TERRIFIED, I am crying, I am a nervous WRECK! I was about to call the police... but before I call the police I decided to walk out front and do a slow glance around our street, I notice something move...IT WAS HIM!!! About 4-5 houses down the street! He crossed the street by himself and was standing my someones mailbox crying!!!! I ran over to him as fast as I have ever run. I was crying so bad I could hardly talk! That was the most Horrific thing that has ever happened to me! He unlocked the front door and basically escaped.
Later on when everything calmed down I asked him what he was doing out there by himself? He told me "I was looking for kids to play with."
Well the next day when Rick got home from work the first things that went up is a protector lock, and alarms for Ricky's room doors so that when he opens his door we all know. Plus it scares him to hear that alarm so maybe he will stay in his room instead of getting into mischief.

Halloween Birthday Bash
Halloween was so much fun! We decided to throw Eevie's B-day party on Halloween this year since it was a Friday, and we wanted it to be affordable. We had about 12-15 kids Rsvp and over 30 kids showed up! Thank goodness I made tons of Nacho Cheese and had extra punch mix. Eevie was so excited that so many of her friends showed up! They all had a lot of fun bouncing on the bounce house, swinging, and just being silly kids in costumes.
Once again Rick decided to dress up as the same thing he is every year for Halloween and for work... You guessed right. A Fireman! (How original?!)
Here are some of the kids in their costumes. We should've had a contest! There were some really cute costumes! Everyone just looked darling though.

GIRLSCOUTS
Yes Folks, This is one of my bestest friends... Crazy...a tad bit odd...sometimes goes out with 2 different shoes on... And has a VERY unusual facebook picture, but she is one of the nicest, coolest, people I know.

Ricky sneaks his way into the girlscout meetings. One day he will be a scout too! Boyscout though.
We finally started girlscout stuff about 4 weeks ago! Yeah!!! This last meeting was really fun as we decorated pumpkins.
All the mom's helped and it was really fun for everyone to spend some quality time with their girls. We are looking forward to selling cookies, and visiting nursing homes...
Well maybe not visiting nursing homes, but selling cookies will be exciting!
Fall Fun
Our Mother's Day Out group went to a place called country critters farm for our fall field trip.
They got to pet goats and sheeps, bounce in a bounce house, go through a maze, play tug of war, and lots of other fun stuff... like picking a decorating PUMPKINS!
Everyone was told to pick a pumpkin that they could carry on their own. They all did really good finding their pumpkin then bringing it to the platform.
Week long Birthday Celebration
Celebration #1 Saturday Oct. 25- Family Only (Suzanna is my 1/2 sister-LOL)
Eevie's Birthday was Oct. 29 she turned 7 years old! Wow, how time flies. It seems like just the other day she was just a few days old. N*E*Way, this girl knows how to get her celebrations on!!!
Celebration #2 Wednesday Oct. 29- Actual Birthday
We went to Chili's to Celebrate, Eevie got a free fancy birthday shake (to go) and on the way out dropped it on the ground. So Rick took her back inside to get another one after we say the tears in her eyes building up.
Celebration #3 Friday Oct. 31- Big Halloween Birthday Bash ...To be continued
National Blogger Month
So, supposedly November is National Blogger Month, and everyone who is into blogging is supposed to blog at least once a day the WHOLE month! I don't think I can do it, but I felt like "Eh, I will as much as I can" Well I don't have the time, but I do have enough stuff going on so far to fill up a full years worth of blogs. So "CHEERS TO NOVEMBER!"
Rick's New Wheels

Rick finally decided to get a bike so that he can ride with me and the kids. He hasn't been the greatest of role models on his bike. He doesn't wear a helment, does pop-a-wheelies, and rides in the street! And of course the kids just admire him to the fullest! As most of you know I love biking, so I am very excited that everyone has joined in to do a activity that I really love!
Since Rick has got his bike we have taken a few family bike rides. Around the neighborhood Ricky rides his own bike, and when we are on trails he rides in the trailer.

She is our neighbor 2 houses down and Eevie and Ricky's really good friend. Everything was going well, everyone was racing, well when Rick passed Ricky, Ricky got really mad and threw himself into the grass. Long and behold there was an ant mound right under him. Luckily Rick got to him in time. (I am happy that in a time of need Rick moves extremely fast!) Ricky was left with only a few minor bites.
San Antonio ...continued
This picture was just too cute for me not to put on here. Right before we left our hotel, Amelia came over to say bye to us! She was such a ham, as soon as she saw my camera she said "Cheese"
ALAMO
Ricky looking over one of the walls.
Before we left San Antonio we took the kids down to the Alamo to learn about some Texas History... Eevie liked looking at some of the artifacts, but other than that they weren't too into it yet. Maybe when they get a little older.Sea World San Antonio
For our 3 day weekend we decided to go to Sea World with our good friends the Dodsons. All of our kids get along with their kids, the husbands click, and of course Suzanna & I are Amigas, so what better group to go with?!
We left on Friday Morning so that we could beat the Austin Rush Hour which is brutal. We got there, checked into our awesome hotel suite, and decided to grab some dinner.
(Ricky decided to take off all his clothes in the car about 2 hrs into our 5 hour car ride.)
Stuffed ourselves @ TX Roadhouse
The next day we were off to Sea World...
We had fun Riding Kiddie rides, watching shows, and Suzanna & I got to leave the kids with the dads to go ride some pretty cool rollercoasters!

The guys were busy checking out the TX vs OU game most of the time to make sure the Longhorns were winning. (As you can see who Rick is supporting) They ended up winning! 45-35 TX! GOOOO LONGHORNS!!!!!
Then it was off to the bird feeding. Basically you hold a cup of sap out and all these birds land on you and drink the sap out of the cup. Boy were my kids excited!!!... Before they actually got into the cages! LOL. Ricky freaked out, Eevies was a tad bit nervous and even I was a little intimidated.
(Everyone's face in these pictures look so funny!)
We watched this really great Sea Lion show. They take so much time training those animals to do such amazing tricks. Unfortunetly the show took a turn for the worst when the sea lions started pooping in the water! It was so disgusting! Right after the thing pooped the actors jumped into the water. The whole crowd was disgusted! Ricky, Eevie, Sydney, and Mauren all sat in the splash zone at this show wanting to get splashed, Ricky was not happy when he did get splashed! (I had to share that picture, it was just too funny) That was a pre-poopy water splash.(Meaning he got splashed B-4 the seal pooped) After he got dried off and changed into new clothes he was MUCH happier! (See Picture)
The dad's had fun with the kids while we were gone riding roller coasters! Here are a few pictures that they took.(Above) The older girls were with them too, who knows what they were doing?!
(Pic #1)
Even though we had 4 adults to 5 children, it still wasn't enough to rangle all of them all the time. Just trying to get a picture took work from every parent.
(pic #2)
As you can see still having problems getting everone together...But Suzanna is ready and posing! LOL
(Pic #6)
Finally a decent one!
It was a great Weekend with our good friends!!!
