On Saturday we had the wonderful opportunity to go out to Woody's Ranch for a huge cookout! It was absolutely Amazing out there! We were on 68 Acres. There were horses and goats, and quite a few dogs. The whole way to the ranch (approximently 1hr 45min) Eevie talked about how she is going to ride the horses, pet the horses, and brush the horses. We get to the ranch and she quickly changes her mind! When it is finally her turn to get on a horse, or pet a horse she says "Ummm, I think I will just look from over here." (Which was about 10 feet away from the horses!) Finally after I bribed her so I could at least get a picture she got on a horse... But just for a second. Ricky quickly took the opportunity to interact with every horse he could get near. We had to make sure that he didn't get too close, we didn't want any injurys.

We had so much fun out there, and it was so peaceful. Woody's daughter is a championship barrel racer, and they horseback ride all the time; Tons of people who were visiting for the cookout brought their horses. Everyone there were figherfighters and police officers and their kiddos. The kids lassoed each other (oh, and Rick too!) and rode a golf cart, which had a HEMI engine! (Talk about POWER!)

As the day came to an end, Ricky decided that it would be best if he stuffed as much sugar into him as possible because at home mommy and daddy don't give him much, so he ate a cupcake and took a handful of frosting off as many of the others as he could before someone saw him. To end the day off with a word from the wise... As we were walking to the van, we passed a few horses. Eevie thinks this will be a good time for some of her valuable information... "Mom & Dad, I know that is a girl horse and that is a boy horse" Me & Rick "Oh, really? How do you know for sure that 1 is a girl & 1 is a boy?" (Thinking she saw the difference of anatomy) Eevie "Well... 1 has a pink rope and the other doesn't!" Like duh guys didn't you know! LOL
