BACK TO SCHOOL

Monday was back to school for our kiddos!  We now officially have all 3 in school.
JC started Kinder this year and was so ready.  He has been talking about it for months.  Ricky started 5th grade and went to intermediate, and Eevie went to 8th grade...one more year til High School eeeek!
We all made it through the first week.  Thank Goodness.  It was a beating with the early mornings & back to the busy-ness of the school year.

This thing we all call LIFE

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo  I am so far behind on blogging... YA whats new right?!
I have been really busy at work and time has just gotten away from me.
So much has happened in the last few weeks and I am so excited to share!
Rick & I went back to Mexico towards the end of the summer break to de-stress and relax.  It started great and ended not so great.  The kids had a great time with my mom they went to the circus, Legoland and all kinds of fun places(I will upload photos once I figure out how to get downloaded photos to the computer from my phone)!!!  I am so glad that they enjoy hanging out with their grandparents.

The next day after we got back we had tickets to go and see Kevin Hart with my mom in Dallas.  He was so funny, and so was his opening acts.  We had a great time and here are some photos from the night.  We didn't take many because they didn't allow phones or cameras into the show, only during certain time periods.

We went to the zoo on a beautiful day before school started back up.  We have been zoo members for so many years and it just never gets old going and enjoying the day learning about the conservation and care of the animals.  We saw so many babies.  There were baby giraffes out and elephants lion cubs and more.  They were all so adorable!

4th of July, Movie Theater, & Date Night!

4th of July weekend is here... Well actually nearly over, but either way some people are still celebrating!
Friday we went and saw the firework show that is put on by the city, it was so beautiful and a great show!  And the bonus to it was that it is literally minutes from our house.  We gathered with some friends, sprayed on the bug spray, grabbed our folding chairs and had a wonderful night with friends!

A couple of weeks ago Rick took me on a date to one of the minor league baseball games in the area.  It was AWESOME!  And really so nice to spend some time one on one.  We ate, drank, and watched baseball.  I love baseball.  And I especially like going to baseball games.   The little Elvis impersonators rode their little itty bitty motorcycles around the field and did funny things.  It was such a great night!

It is summer and HOT as H-E-Double Hockey sticks out here in Texas!  That means there are only a handful of options, swimming, the water parks, and finally the movies.  Summertime at the movies is the best!  That is when all the family and children movies come out.  So we try to take advantage and see them.  We have seen Disney Pixar's Inside Out, and Jurassic World.  Both great movies!  The last time we went we had some yummy and buttery popcorn.  Unfortunately we all got really bad food poison!

We also have been doing some other fun stuff to try and keep busy while school is out.
We made homemade pizzas recently.
That was the hit of the family...the kids were so happy and excited.

Hope you all had a great 4th of July!
