And away we go!!! (2nd Grade Field Trip 2013)

This year Ricky and Eevie both took a big field trip out of town for their school field trip!
Eevie went to New Braunsfels & San Antonio.  Ricky went to Austin!

I went with Ricky to Austin so that would be why there are so many photos of Ricky and none of Eevie...while we were in Austin we went to the museum, the state capital, and also stopped and had dinner with my sister in Law Sarah and my little nephew Brooks!  What a wonderful time we had!

April 2013

Yep...I know, I have been slacking again!  Life has been a whirlwind!  We have some pretty exciting news that we are waiting to share (sorry...I can't share just yet)  BUT I CAN share some really cute photos and fun activities that we have enjoyed this month :)

Easter

Jc did his little Easter egg hunt with his friends!  I am so happy that he actually went after the eggs this year. 

Hershey got fixed and had to wear the cone of shame :(

 

We did our annual Easter decorating with our friends...these kids have grown so much through the years, we have been doing it since the girls were 4 and now they are 11.

Spring Break 2013

WOW...everytime I write that (2013)  it just scares me!  How can it be 2-0-1-3 already?  It seems just like I was just writing Spring break 2010 just the other day!  BUT anyway, this spring break we stayed home, Rick worked 3 out of the 5 days...The kids did Six Flags, we all went to a TCU baseball game, we went to Chuck E. Cheese, we had playgroups with friends, Ricky had baseball baseball and more baseball! It was a fun week :) 

 

Anniversary Celebration

I guess I never got around to posting about me and Rick's exciting anniversary celebration in San Antonio TX. We stayed at the Martiott on the Riverwalk, ate tons of yummy food and had a fabulous relaxing time with each other. Wow...it was so nice. Just thinking about it makes me want to head back to enjoy some more quality adult quiet time. I just love my hubby.

Monster Jam 2013

Have I mentioned how awesome my husband is lately? Well...he is super awesome! We have been having so much negativity going on lately in our life, but he always finds a way to cheer up me and the kids.
He purchased tickets to monster jam at the Cowboys stadium and we had a blast! And to top it off we were in the very first row.
We saw trucks flip over, wheels fly off, and boy was it loud. It was such a great night with my little family.

Meet Hershey

This is Hershey!  He is a full breed standard poodle.  He has been such a joy to have around.  We got him when he was just about to be 8 weeks old, and now he is 13 weeks.  He has grown so much!

 Having him has really helped with the process of moving forward.
