2013 Has come & Gone

Soooooo... A lot has happened since June!  The photos are in no particular order, but lets just say it has been a crazy busy tail end of the year.

JC & I went with his best friend and her mom to Disney on Ice.  That child loves Mickey mouse to the moon and  back, so he was more than thrilled when we surprised him with a full day out with his best friend AND Mickey mouse!  Double score!  It hit the wallet pretty hard though, ugh.  1 spinning toy $20, cotton candy with crown $12, a drink $6, and I don't even remember what else we got but I probably spent close to $100.  Although it was expensive spending time with him while he is small enough to enjoy the small things is just priceless to me.

My lunch date Ricky at school.  I always love having lunch with the kids at school

Just a random sweet photo of my girl Eevie, I am just now sure how she got big so fast!  It feels like I blinked and she was a 12 year old.

The best part of Christmas!!! Putting up the decorations and preparing for Christmas day.

Towards the tail end of the summer we went out to the lake and rode on the boat.

Just some fun photos from different occasions

Eevie's 6th grade trip.  She was gone for a couple of days at a Christian Camp.  She had a great time, but gee we missed her!

I had a ton of fun attending Ricky's field trip in October, they went on a painting scavenger hunt, to the pumpkin patch and to the mission center to donate pet food and supplies.  It was a fun day!

Halloween this year...oh what can I say.  We are in this "scary" stage, where the older 2 no longer want to be cute & cuddly for Halloween.  Instead they wanted to be "SPOOKY".  One was a zombie, the other was a zombie dr.  My sweet little JC was a tigger,  That Tigger costume has been through all 3 kids and they all wore it around 4 years old.  I was so happy to get another year out of it.  It still looks practically brand new!

(YES...it is normal for Eevie to photobomb!)

JC started playing T-Ball this year!!! Oh boy what fun.  He loved it, he was serious about it too.  It was pretty funny.  He sure was cute!

Some cute photos of the kids:

Living the Cheer Life
I have officially moved my preschool into a nice big building!

Oh...and also got a haircut to celebrate the move, and to make life easier!

Here are some photos of the new building:

The cool red front door!  (My favorite color)

AND our classrooms & entry way.  We have added a few things but this is about it.  Our first day of school in our new building was in August, and it has been a busy and bumpy ride since.
JC turned 4 and had a fun little birthday party celebrating with his friends.  AND the best part was he only asked for a Firetruck lol.  So we made sure he had a great big fire truck pull up to the party with lights and all!  He was so excited.

Eevie joined the all-star squad at Spirit Cheer, it has been full on cheer life for us the last few months!  We are so happy she has found a sport she enjoys.  AND she is great at it!  So far her team is undefeated!!!

Eevie turned 12 in October, I am so sad one more year until I have a teenager!

JC's school pictures from Thanksgiving feast and Picture day!

We had a massive ice storm about a month ago, we were stuck in the house due to icy roads and dangerous conditions for about 4 days.  It was a nightmare!!!

I think that is all the updates for now.  Maybe I will gather up the energy to post about Christmas soon....

...TO BE CONTINUED

Jumping Junipers June is over!

Once again another month has flown by...I think it has become a regular saying on my blog!  I just can't believe that time keeps going by faster and faster.

Ricky turned 8 years old on the 7th!!!  That doesn't roll off my tongue easily!  My little boy is growing up.  :(  He had his party at Pump it up.  That is a inflatable bounce house party place.  And all the kids had a blast.

It was super busy, but then again what month/day/year isn't?!  On the 14th marked 6 months since my brother passed away.   It seems strange, like it went by slow but also fast at the same time.  I still can't believe that he is gone.

We are enjoying summer... it has been going by in a whirlwind.  I'm just trying to keep up.  Ricky played summer baseball (Did I even take 1 a picture?)  And Eevie is at the gym for competitive cheer and tumbling 6 hours a week.  So every night is jam packed and JC just tags along.  Our days are full of field trips,  nature hikes, swimming in the backyard pool, the local waterpark (Hawaiian Falls), Six Flags, and play dates with friends.  We put together a summer fun board at the beginning of the summer and have been slowly taking our post its off as we complete a adventure.

I love my family so much!  They make me so happy.  It has been such fun so far this summer!!!  I wouldn't change all the busy-ness and activities that make them happy for the world!

We are ready to celebrate the land of the free this week and have a down week.  I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July!
